Our current culture provides a wide variety of approaches to truth, knowledge, life, meaning, and purpose. The Gospel, and revelation in any form, is challenged today by skeptics advocating a secular worldview.
To deal with challenges like these, Christian Leadership Ministries (CLM) and Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) partnered together to sponsor God and the Academy: Charting a Course for the New Millennium. Held at the Georgia Institute of Technology in August, 2000, this conference was international in scope and designed to bring together Christians who recognize the "culture-shaping" influence of education – particularly in the secular university.
These two volumes, Science: Christian Perspectives for the New Millennium and Philosophy: Christian Perspectives for the New Millennium, capture the ideas proposed and discussed at the conference. Each volume contains presentations and essays from the world’s top Christian scholars, and is designed to encourage readers to think Christianly about different subjects and to dialogue with those outside the Christian community who often have legitimate questions about revelation in general – and the Gospel in particular.
